A FEW USEFUL DETAILS

Before you press.

What does Disk Mount Manager control?

Eligible external data volumes on macOS. Internal and system volumes, recovery partitions and disk images are excluded. Unmount All only processes disks mapped in the plugin, with your chosen exclusions.

What if a disk is busy?

The disk stays mounted. Its button shows a red LED and front outline. Close the files or applications using it, then try again. The plugin does not force an unmount.

Does it physically eject the drive?

No. Disk Mount Manager mounts and unmounts volumes. A drive ejected by macOS can be unavailable until reconnected.

Why does remembering require a password?

Changed reboot policies need administrator authorization. The current account must be allowed to use sudo. Matching policies need no write. A failed policy save leaves the disk in its resulting state.

Does the Caffeinated preview keep my screen awake?

No. The website previews its artwork only. Install the Stream Deck plugin to use the display and system controls.
